Thomas will be conducting the OAE at the Vienna Konserthaus in May 2018 in a performance of Der Rosenkavalier. Filmed in the Schoenbrunn Palace in 1925 – this will be taking the film back to where it was conceived and where Strauss and Hugo von Hoffmanstahl collaborated on the movie with film director Robert Weine and set designer, the Secessionist Alfred Roller. A historic event.
